Bible Songs ("the App", "we", "us") is a 24/7 continuous music streaming activity playable inside Discord or in a web browser. It plays Bible songs — Psalms, worship, and Scripture-based music — from the SGSS open library. This policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Discord identity (when playing via Discord): your Discord user ID, username, and avatar — used only to display your name and avatar in the App. The App does not read your messages or channel content.
- Channel ID (when playing via Discord): the ID of the voice channel hosting the activity — used to identify the current session.
- Listening activity: anonymized play events (which song started) may be recorded to show what the community is listening to. These are not tied to your personal identity.
2. How We Use the Data
- To display your name and avatar while you listen.
- To keep the stream running and show the current song to everyone in the channel.
- To track overall listening statistics (counts only, not personal data).
3. Data Storage & Retention
Aggregate listening counts are stored on a Firebase Realtime Database (operated by Google LLC). No personal listening history is retained. You can request deletion of any of your data at any time via the contact details below.
4. Third-Party Services
- Discord Inc. — the embedded app SDK and OAuth provide your Discord identity for login. Discord's own privacy policy applies to your Discord account.
- Google Firebase — hosts the song catalog and aggregate play counts.
- GitHub — hosts the song audio files (SGSS open library).
- Cloudflare — hosts and serves the App and streams the audio.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
5. Children
The App is a general-audience music player and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
